When you vote, the following is stored on the server:
- a hashed random browser ID
- the selected option
- a timestamp
A random visitor ID is stored locally in your browser. This lets the same browser recognise or change its existing vote.
Idea form
When you submit an idea, the following is stored:
- the suggestion you entered
- the language used
- the moderation status
- a timestamp
- a hashed browser ID to enforce the daily submission limit
Ideas are not published automatically. They are stored for moderation first.
Why is this data used?
- to operate the community vote
- to calculate voting results
- to prevent simple multiple voting
- to store and moderate submitted ideas
- to operate and secure the website technically
The data is not used for advertising, profiling or personalised marketing.
Hosting and technical providers
This website is operated with ChatGPT Sites by OpenAI. As part of hosting, security, error analysis and technical operation, OpenAI may process technical data, metadata and logs. No claim is made that all data is stored exclusively in Switzerland.
Cookies and browser storage
No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or comparable marketing tracker is currently used. The website uses local browser storage only for the language preference and the voting function:
- anr-language-v3 — manually selected language
- anr-poll-visitor — random visitor ID
- anr-poll-vote — the option recognised by this browser
No cookie banner is shown while no non-essential tracking or marketing technologies are used.
